We partner with Florida Church Planters and have been setting aside funds while prayerfully seeking a church planter for our state. After a thorough interview process, we feel led to partner with David and Dimara Miller to plant Unity Christian Church in Leesburg, Florida.
The name “Unity” is significant as it represents David’s mission to unite all people around the greatest message and promise: the Gospel. God is bringing together David’s diverse background and conservative Biblical worldview to make an eternal impact for the Great Commission in central Florida.
Our partnership extends beyond financial support; it includes our time, talent, and resources. David will have full access to our staff, systems, processes, encouragement, and guidance as they begin this exciting journey. As they near an official launch date in the fall of 2025, we will provide opportunities for our New Day family to help with projects and events alongside the Unity team.
We will also be organizing mission trips to support Unity as they reach various milestones. Our prayer is for Unity Christian Church to grow enough to launch another church plant, mirroring what New Day is currently doing.
