BT PICKETT

BT Pickett joined the New Day team as a worship pastor in January 2023.  In his role as Executive Pastor of Worship, BT shepherds and leads the music and production ministries of the church.

BT graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology before entering a career as a police officer. While serving as a volunteer worship leader at his church, BT surrendered to God’s call for him in vocational ministry. He pursued a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary before serving as Worship Pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY for 8 years.

BT is married to Brittney and has three children. He enjoys playing sports, exercising, and being outdoors as much as possible.
